Sunny also was invited to present her work 'Mechanical Reinforcement of Composite Materials with Aligned Carbon Nanotubes" at the 2013 Women in Aerospace Symposium. The symposiumis a joint venture between the Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics and the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT.
