August 17, 2020

Xinchen Ni and Reed Kopp gave an invited webinar entitled "Experimental Progressive Damage in Next-Generation and Nanoengineered Advanced Composites via X-ray Computed Tomography and Automated Segmentation Using Deep Learning" on August 17th to a US-COMP audience.  The invitation was extended to Professor Wardle's researchers as part of the funding project necstlab is involved in.

As noted on the US-COMP website: "The Institute for Ultra-Strong Composites by Computational Design (US-COMP) is a NASA Space Technologies Research Institute (STRI) awarded in 2017 to a partnership of 11 universities, 2 companies, and the Air Force Research Laboratory. Led by Prof. Greg Odegard at Michigan Technological University, the institute is funded at $15M over 5 years."
